Call For Paper

Energy Sustainability invites researchers, engineers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers to submit high-quality manuscripts for publication in the upcoming issues of the journal. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, case studies, short communications, technical notes, and applied engineering studies related to sustainable energy systems and energy transition.

Energy Sustainability publishes scholarly works in the fields of renewable and sustainable energy systems, power systems, smart grids, microgrids, energy storage and battery systems, mechanical and thermal energy systems, energy efficiency, industrial energy management, energy economics, energy policy, sustainability assessment, and digital technologies for energy applications. The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary and applied studies that contribute to cleaner, more reliable, efficient, affordable, and environmentally responsible energy solutions.

Submissions may address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Renewable and sustainable energy systems
  • Solar, wind, hydro, biomass, geothermal, and hybrid renewable energy systems
  • Power systems, smart grids, and microgrids
  • Grid integration of renewable energy
  • Energy storage and battery management systems
  • Hydrogen storage, supercapacitors, and hybrid storage systems
  • Mechanical and thermal energy systems
  • HVAC, refrigeration, combustion, turbomachinery, and waste heat recovery
  • Energy efficiency and industrial energy management
  • Energy audit, demand response, and energy conservation strategies
  • Energy economics, policy, regulation, and sustainability assessment
  • Life cycle assessment and environmental impact assessment
  • Artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, digital twin, smart metering, and data analytics for energy systems

All submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. Manuscripts should be written in English and prepared according to the journal’s author guidelines and manuscript template. Each submission will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process.

Energy Sustainability is published twice a year, in January and July. Accepted articles will be published as open-access articles to support the wide dissemination of scientific knowledge and practical innovation in sustainable energy systems.
