Before submitting a manuscript to Energy Sustainability, authors are required to ensure that the manuscript meets the following requirements:

Authors must confirm that:

  1. The manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
  2. The manuscript is written in clear academic English.
  3. The manuscript follows the journal template and author guidelines.
  4. The title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author information are complete.
  5. The abstract clearly presents the background, objective, method, results, and conclusion.
  6. The manuscript includes appropriate keywords.
  7. The introduction clearly explains the research background, gap, novelty, and contribution.
  8. The methodology is clearly described and reproducible.
  9. The results and discussion are presented clearly and supported by data.
  10. Tables and figures are numbered, titled, and cited in the text.
  11. References are complete, accurate, and formatted according to the journal style.
  12. All sources are properly cited.
  13. The manuscript has been checked for grammar, formatting, and similarity.
  14. Ethical approval, informed consent, or permission has been provided where applicable.
  15. All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.
